'Blood Money' stars Kunal Kemmu and Amrita Puri, alongside Mia Uyeda, Karan Mehra, Sandip Sikcand, Manish Chowdhary, and Shekhar Shukla.
The film is loosely based on the John Grisham thriller 'The Firm' and is also inspired by the Leonardo DiCaprio starrer 'Blood Diamond'.
Kunal Kemmu and Amrita Puri look effortlessly good on screen.
However, the romancing between the two is hardly there.
Kunal has a tough job carrying the film on his shoulders.
Miya Uyeda sizzles in a steamy scene with Kunal.
Unfortunately, the film cannot be expected to works wonders for Kunal (who has supposedly undergone a spelling change in his surname, from Khemu to Kemmu and has tried real hard to impress us with his acting) as the viewers cringe from pale copies of Hollywood films in this age and time. The makers should note that merely having a decent cast and a fairly good musical soundtrack (thanks to Jeet Ganguly and the Haldipur Bothers) aren't enough to make one say good things about a film.
