'Maximum' is the new film set in the Maximum City, that is Mumbai, and its underworld, its sharpshooters and the bad guys' brigade...... and it could well have been a gripping thriller, a gritty film, which it almost is. It fails largely because of the compromises made, and because of being ridden with cliches.
Sonu Sood is credible enough in the lead.
Naseeruddin Shah, and Vinay Pathak excel as well.
Neha Dhupia just manages to look good with Sonu.

This film just came and went without making any impact whatsoever........ I hope it gets seen by more people, including me, now that it is available on video.
